Burberry Nude Radiance Fresh Glow Review Swatches

I was really Excited to use this Burberry 'luminous fluid base' as my skin can look a bit dull especially at this time on year. It is supposed to be used under your foundation or as a highlighter. I got the lightest shade that they offer and it looks great in the bottle (and that bottle ♥)

Below are pictures of one pump on the back of my hand, once rubbed in it has a slight shimmery look. When I used this on my face under my foundation however I could see no real difference at all! As a highlighter it was just not strong enough to really give any real effect so overall I must say I was pretty disappointed. So at the price of £34.00 I can safely say I will not be buying again (but it sure looks good on my battle station)

Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette Swatches and Review

I have wanted this palette for a while mainly due to the fact that I love the gold packaging (sad I know) and I thought the colours would work well with pale skin.

I like all of the highlighters a lot, the top left had side shade is a cream and the other 3 are powders. I think my favourite shade in the bottom left hand side of the quad as the powder is more finely milled and gives a much subtler highlight.

I do love the packaging- however the lid does not open very far, the second picture below shows its hinge limit, this has made the palette a pain to use at times and you can't really use the mirror at all.

Overall I really like the quad and for the price of £10 I think it is really reasonable and a great alternative to higher end highlighters.

Ted Baker Hanging Gardens Mini Leather Purse

I am so in love with this purse! I got this a few weeks ago now and for £49 I am pretty happy!

I am not a fan of big purses as I often carry very small bags so this was a great size for me- thought it did not have quite enough card slots in my opinion.

I was a little worried about how light the purse is, but so far due to the high quality of the material I have not had any marks or scratches yet and it still looks fresh and clean- we shall see if this continues a few month down the line!

Overall I adore this purse it is so pretty the perfect size for me, its great quality and I just love the lining.

Cohorted Beauty Box Black Edition Products and Review

I received my Cohorted beauty box in the post today and was excited to see what I got! I was very disappointed with the box last month so I had hoped that this month would get me back on board! However once again just didn't hit the mark for me. Not only was I a bit bored by most of the products I also did not receive one of the items that is in the booklet- the Pixi Crayon, I instead received a Dove underam dark mark eraser which honestly I am pretty pissed about!

Now this is not the first time I have not been sent the same products as in the leaflet and in fact last month I did not even receive a leaflet explaining the products! For £30 a month I think Cohorted really need to get their act together!

Lush The Kiss Lip Scrub Valentines Day Treat

This is a perfect Valentines treat! The Kiss sugar lip scrub is cute as hell, bright pink with ittie bittie little hearts mixed in.

You simply scoop a little bit out and rub it onto your lips then lick it off (I however wipe most of it off and just lick the remnants I don't want that much sugar!). The scrub leaves your lips feeling much smoother and stained slightly pink, it's a lovely effect on its own with a bit of lip balm added after.

the scrub costs £5.50 which I think is a little bit on the pricey side, however they do last a really long time, in fact I threw out my last scrub due to how long I had, had it!

The Balm Liquid Lipstick Meet Matt(e) Hughes in Adoring Merlot and Chivalrous

I bought these The Balm Liquid Lipsticks after hearing from a friend that they were pretty good and to help fulfil the need for the Kat Von D equivalents.

I bought these from Superdrug for £15.49 each, however I have found out that you can get these from Debenhams for £13.50 GRR.

The liquid lipsticks smell strongly like mint and it really tingles your lips, which for me, a person who hates mint is not the best aspect- though I know many people would love it!

I picked two pretty bright colours and their pigmentation is fantastic! Both of the colours applied really well and I really like the look of them, however they were REALLY drying. As soon as the colours dried my lips kinda felt like sandpaper! Chivalrous pink however was much worse than Adoring Merlot.

Despite how dry they were and me constantly licking my lips their staying power was very impressive! Even when I did the swatches, I tried to remove them with my Garnier Micellar water and they were still very hard to remove and stained my hand!

Glossy Box February Edition

I have been subscribed to Glossy Box for a few months now and there have been some brilliant boxes and some lets say slightly naff boxes, however for the price of £8.00 per month for the next 12 months I think that overall the price is worth the products that I have received.

All of the products in this box are full sized and the total cost for the box is £36.12 and I must say I am excited to use all of them!

Sephora Haul Kat Von D Liquid Lipsticks- Double Dare, Lovestruck and Lolita

I have heard so much about the Kat Vod D Liquid Lipsticks that I just had to get my hands on some of them! I tried to find a provider int he UK but unfortunately I had to order these from Sephora and fork out the international shipping cost (13.79)

The shipping was relatively fast I ordered these on the Sunday and the package arrived by the following Friday. The products came in a huge box considering how small the products were but this did ensure that all of the products came in pristine condition!

I have now worn Lolita ad Lovestruck, I adore both of them and they are nowhere near as drying as I thought they would be or as other liquid lipsticks I have used. Their lasting power is also fantastic I ate and drank (and even brushed my teeth) whilst wearing the lipsticks and the colour barely budged.

The problem is that now I want ALL of the colours of these liquid lipsticks and I just don't think my bank account will allow it!
